Metallic Epoxy Floors
Bespoke Concrete Art
High-Gloss Deep Marble Finishes
If you are looking for a standard solid floor, epoxy is great. But for spaces where aesthetics are just as important as structural strength, metallic epoxy offers an extraordinary, marble-like finish. No two metallic floors are ever identical.
At Gotham Floor Systems, we blend ultra-clear epoxy binders with dynamic metallic powders. By using specialized flow solvents, blowers, and squeegees, we guide the natural currents of the pigments to cure into high-gloss, liquid-glass masterpieces.
Benefits of Metallic Epoxy
Combining customized visual elegance, premium high-gloss reflectivity, and seamless polymer sealing.
Completely Custom Swirls
Because the metallic powders settle uniquely on every slab, your finished floor is a one-of-a-kind piece of art tailored to your preferences.
Deep 3D Gloss Depth
Light penetrates the thick clear resin layers and bounces off the suspended metallic flakes, creating an illusion of deep, liquid marble movement.
Seamless Waterproof Barrier
Fuses directly to concrete to block moisture vapor pressure and spills, preventing staining from liquids while remaining entirely grout-free.
Metallic Epoxy Styles
Dual-Tone Marble
Blending two complementary metallic powders (like silver and slate) to replicate natural marble veins with seamless high-gloss protection.
Single Color Flow
A single metallic pigment swirled inside the epoxy binder, creating a subtle three-dimensional wave pattern for contemporary modern decors.
Solvent Cell Accents
Using isopropyl alcohol spray or flow techniques to separate metallic pigments, resulting in crackle, cell, or hammer-tone visuals.
How Metallic Powders Settle
Metallic epoxy systems utilize fine pearlescent pigments (typically mica particles coated with titanium dioxide or iron oxide). These powder pigments are mixed into an ultra-clear, slow-curing epoxy binder. As the epoxy self-levels across the diamond-ground concrete, gravity and thermal currents guide the powder flow. The metallic particles align dynamically, reflecting light from different depths of the coating. Once cured under clear polyurethane or polyaspartic scratch topcoats, they lock in permanent multi-dimensional visual styles.
